Technological Tools

Technology effects school work inside the classroom and outside. The new Perdue Hall is a perfect example of a technological advancement that helps students on campus at Salisbury University. The computers in the classroom give students the ability to be more up to date with their Gull Net account, Myclasses and their school email. All of these databases are also effective technologies that students may use in the classroom or at home. When I was a freshman we didn't have Myclasses, and that really effected my grades. I did not have daily notifications like the one's that Myclasses sends out to remind me homework is due or that a test is coming up. That update not only tells me when the test is, but explains where I can find my information to study. This database makes it easier for me to get notes that otherwise would not be available to study. Over my years at Salisbury my grades have increasingly gone up and it can be directly coorelated to the fact that classrooms have adopted technology and the programs available for studying have been advanced as well.
